Mount Pierrepoint Estate is a small family vineyard, winery and bed and breakfast, south west of Tarrington on the foothills of Mount Pierrepoint. The property boasts magnificent views to the north east of Mount Pierrepoint, across a charming valley, an established sugar gum plantation and a picturesque lake. And to the south, wonderful views of Mount Napier, often across golden fields of canola or mustard. Visitors are free to walk amongst the vines, venture down to the jetty on the lake where nesting swans, eels, red fin and mountain ducks make their home. Conservation areas are being developed where many unique, native grasses have existed undisturbed for many years. Koalas would have once inhabited the area feeding on the native manna gums and occasionally a lone bachelor frequents our surrounds to feed on either the few remnant trees of the area or the young trees being established.
