I went to Dunkeld the other month and happened to stumble across this event. I had a blast looking through all the gardens and really enjoyed the welcoming community. I am coming back this weekend to head to it so I recommend everyone else in the area to go and have a look!

Hamilton Embroidery Guidance Group are celebrating their 30 year anniversary. Their opening night at the Art Gallery is this Thursday starting at 6 pm. The display will be running from May 28 - July 4 2010.

This week is the last week of local photographer Jill Frawley's exhibition. The photographs are taken in the Branxholme area when the fire swept through in January 2009. The photos show spectacular use of contrast and colour all in a natural setting. The photos are on display until the 23rd May.

Thank you to all those who attended the 10th annual Promenade of Sacred Music, it was a wonderful weekend of fine music in beautiful Churches in Hamilton and surrounds. The event showcased many of our talented local performers as well as many renowned musicians from Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth! The dates have been set for the 2011 event-
7-10 April, mark it in your diary now!

The construction of the new Hamilton Conference & Exhibition Centre is due to be completed in late July. The centre is looking fantastic and will be a great asset for Hamilton! For enquiries please contact the Hamilton P & A Society.

I was in Hamilton recently and at the end of a very long and very hot day - I called in to the HILAC Centre for swim. What a fantastic facility. I am from a larger country town than Hamilton and we have nothing like this at all. Hope you realise what you've got there Hamilton - it's great!

The Promenade of Sacred Music Committee is holding a dinner to celebrate the 10 years of the Festival. The night will feature Barry Jones AO and 3 course dinner on the 14th April at the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre. Tickets are $55 per head and can be purchased from the PAC. Why not get a group of freinds together and book a table for this entertaining night!!

Due to the Murray to Moyne cycling tour travelling through Hamilton on this night the accommodation is very heavily booked.
